Static Cell for Tests

The electrical relative conductivity of a solution is measured by determining the resistance of the solution between two cylindrical electrodes separated by a fixed distance. An alternating voltage is used in order to avoid electrolysis.
Generally, the conductivity of a solution increases with temperature, as the mobility of the ions increases. This equipment has been designed to perform a conductivity measure with high frequency signal, useful to characterize ohmic heating processes for industrial treatments.
