Leader in Ohmic Heating technology, Emmepiemme srl produces a wide range of plants for food industries and other fields.

HISTORY

In 1993, a cooperation for an R&D project started. The main topic was the ohmic industrial heating for food industry. The project was created in partnership with a microwave specialized company and food processing with expert engineers. During the first period of the cooperation, different prototypes were developed and successfully equipped for the first time in a plant from Italy, where engineers starts a long period of evaluation with different types of food.

 

Originally the research program was independent, because in that years ohmic heating was an embryonic technology and there were not public information of research centers. However, major companies were exploring the ohmic process in the same period. The research gave initially good results on empiric tests and the technology, despite being on a first level, looked promising.

The main topic after the first test (even today) was the industrialization of the process, and the reliability of the equipped hardware. Materials, production processes, assembling, tests, lab-analysis and more are the foundation of the company, grown up in more than 20 years and about 100 equipped plants in 4 continents. The research of Emmepiemme has not stopped and assists from technology and material progress, continuously develop and test new solution for industries. The R&D activities are actually conducted in cooperation with specialized research centers, where technology and know-how is shared to improve industrial treatments and hardware.

Emmepiemme offers post-sale assistance for clients all over the world, production process and product specification are strictly confidential and monitored by expert technicians, with no externalization of the know-how and intellectual properties.​

1995 - COMPLETE ASEPTIC LINE FOR TOMATO PASTE AND MANGO PUREE. INSTALLED IN IVORY COAST, 64kW POWER, 1500 kg/h FLOW RATE

1996 - 100 kW OHMIC APPLICATOR FOR DICED PEACHES AND APRICOT HALVES, INSTALLED IN ASEPTIC LINE. 1500 kg/h FLOW RATE

1996 - FIRST INDUSTRIAL PISTON PUMP, 4000 kg/h FLOW RATE

1998 - FIRST INDUSTRIAL POWER SUPPLY WITH SWITCHING TECHNOLOGY, 20-30kHz, 50kW.

1998 - FIRST INDUSTRIAL ASEPTIC LINE FOR DICED PEACH AND HALVES, HOLDING, COOLER AND CIP SECTION.

1998 - ELECTRIC CABINET FOR SOH 200 OHMIC WITH 4 POWER SUPPLY GENERATORS.

1999-2000 - 3 COMPLETE ASEPTIC LINE FOR DICED PEACHES AND APRICOT HALVES, 15000 kg/h FLOW RATE, 3 X 240 kW INSTALLED POWER.

2001 - COMPLETE ASEPTIC LINE FOR VEGETABLES AND LOW ACID PRODUCTS, 600 kg/h FLOW RATE, 120 kW INSTALLED POWER.

2003 - FIRST OHMIC HEATER FOR MEAT PASTEURIZATION, 60 kW POWER, 1500 kg/h FLOW RATE. INSTALLED IN FRANCE.

2004 - COMPLETE ASEPTIC LINE FOR WHOLE PEELED AND DICED TOMATOES,5000 kg/h FLOW RATE, 480 kW INSTALLED POWER.

2005 - COMPLETE ASEPTIC LINE FOR LOW CONDUCTIVITY FRUIT RECIPES PRODUCTS, 1500 kg/h FLOW RATE, 120 kW INSTALLED POWER.

2005 - COMPLETE ASEPTIC LINE FOR TOMATO PUREES AND PASTES. 4000 kg/h FLOW RATE, 240 kW INSTALLED POWER.

2007 - OHMIC APPLICATOR FOR LARGE CONDUCTIVITY RANGE PRODUCTS, 3000 kg/h FLOW RATE, 240 kW INSTALLED POWER.

2010 - COMPLETE ASEPTIC LINE FOR LOW ACID SOUP PREPARATIONS, 5000 kg/h FLOW RATE, 600 kW INSTALLED POWER.

2012 - COMPLETE ASEPTIC PILOT LINE FOR DICED, VISCOUS AND LIQUID PRODUCTS, 200 kg/h FLOW RATE, 40 kW INSTALLED POWER.

2015 - (under construction) COMPLETE HOT FILLING LINE FOR FRUIT PUREES WITH AND WITHOUT DICES, 8000 kg/h FLOW RATE, 480 kW INSTALLED POWER.
